Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pippa (gopippa.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Pippa account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Pippa is designed for adults (parents, teachers, and content creators) to create animated content. Children under 13 may not create accounts directly.

If you are creating content that features a child (for example, using their name, likeness, or voice), you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and have the authority to consent to the processing of that content.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gopippa.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

Content Ownership and License

Your Content

You retain ownership of the stories, images, voice recordings, and other content you upload to Pippa. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the service (generating animations, rendering videos, printing books).

Generated Content

Content generated by Pippa's AI pipeline (images, videos, audio) is yours to use, share, publish, and monetize, subject to the following:

  • Generated content may not be used to create deceptive, harmful, or illegal material
  • You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing or publishing it
  • AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected or inaccurate results

Artist Style Packs

Style packs created by artists remain the intellectual property of their creators. Using an artist's style pack in your project grants you a license to use the resulting generated content, but does not transfer ownership of the style pack itself.

Children's Content

Pippa is a tool for creating children's stories and animations. When creating content featuring real children, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have parental or guardian authority over any child featured in your content
  • You are solely responsible for the appropriateness and accuracy of content you create
  • Content shared publicly via the Explore gallery or published to external platforms (YouTube, social media) is your responsibility to moderate
  • Pippa is not responsible for how third parties use content you publish publicly

We reserve the right to remove content that we determine to be harmful, exploitative, or in violation of these terms, particularly content involving minors.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Pippa to:

  • Create content that is sexually explicit, violent, or harmful, especially involving minors
  • Impersonate others or create deepfake content without consent
  • Violate any applicable law, including COPPA, GDPR, or intellectual property laws
  • Distribute spam, malware, or conduct phishing
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
  • Resell access to the service without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Subscription and Payments

Pippa offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or the Stripe billing portal
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support@gopippa.ai
  • Token (Pippa Coin) balances are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

Print-a-Book Orders

Book printing is fulfilled by Lulu Press. By placing a book order, you agree to Lulu's printing and shipping terms. Pippa is not responsible for print quality issues, shipping delays, or lost shipments beyond facilitating the order with our print partner.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Pippa available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI generation depends on third-party providers that may experience outages, rate limits, or quality variations. We are not liable for delays or failures in content generation caused by third-party provider issues.

Limitation of Liability

Pippa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through account settings. Deletion follows a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the request. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Pippa after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
